About the Role
We are looking for a Manufacturing QC Engineer to ensure the quality of solar panels during the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Check the quality of solar panels at different stages of production.
- Inspect raw materials, cells, glass, strings, soldering, layup, lamination and final product.
- Perform and monitor quality tests as per company standards.
- Identify defects and ensure proper corrective action.
- Monitor production processes and ensure SOPs are followed.
- Maintain quality inspection and test records.
- Support EL testing, visual inspection and other module quality checks.
- Investigate repeated quality problems and identify root causes.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure proper handling of rejected/defective material.
- Follow safety, 5S and quality procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing QC/quality inspection.
- Experience in solar module manufacturing will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of EL testing and solar module defects will be an advantage.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working on the factory floor.
- Willing to work in shifts.
- Freshers are NOT eligible.
